Job summary

A rapidly growing finance company located in Austin, TX, is looking for an Accounting Manager to contribute to strategic financial decisions and support the expansion into new markets and products. You will manage critical accounting operations and provide insights that help drive leadership decisions. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, advanced Excel skills, and a minimum of 5 years experience in accounting or finance. A competitive salary of $135k - $155k along with equity and excellent benefits will be offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years working in public accounting or at a mid-late stage start-up.
• Well-versed in month-end closing processes and accounting standards.
• Familiarity or experience with P&C insurance is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support growth by scaling accounting processes for new markets.
• Provide financial analysis and insights for business decisions.
• Own the close process by preparing entries and reconciliations.
• Enhance financial operations and manage AP functions.
• Ensure compliance and support annual audits.
