Job summary
A rapidly growing company in Austin is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to contribute significantly to expanding into new markets. This role involves providing key financial insights, managing accounting processes, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 3+ years of relevant experience, along with strong analytical skills. Compensation includes a salary of $110k - $125k, equity, and various benefits including health insurance and 3 weeks PTO.
Qualifications
3+ years working in public accounting or at a mid-late stage startup.
Well-versed in month-end closing processes and accounting standards.
Familiarity with P&C insurance is a plus.
Responsibilities
Help scale accounting processes as we expand into new markets.
Provide financial analysis and insights for key business decisions.
Prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, and conduct variance analysis.
Assist with premium accounting, accounts receivable, and manage AP functions.
Support annual audits and respond to auditor requests.
