Job summary

Sixth Street is seeking a full-time Accounting Analyst in Dallas, TX. You will support the quarterly close, review P&L by business unit, and help prepare external and internal financial reports.

The role requires strong accounting fundamentals, GAAP expertise, and experience with Excel and GL reporting. The successful candidate will work across departments, help optimize internal controls, and participate in special projects for leadership.

Qualifications

• Accounting or Finance degree required.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and statutory accounting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with quarterly close cycle.
• Review monthly P&L by Business Unit.
• Produce financial reporting deliverables for external parties and management.
• Assist with expense allocations and methodology understanding.
• Interact with Deal Team, Fund Accounting, IT, Operations, Compliance, Tax, and AP to support controls and processes.
