Job summary

Sixth Street is seeking a full-time Portfolio Accountant in Dallas, TX to support the accounting and investing activities across our private equity, hybrid, and liquid credit funds. You will work with a developing team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment on counterparty management, cash management, treasury, and reporting deliverables.

The role emphasizes accuracy, detail, and timely delivery of statements, with opportunities to contribute to various projects and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, responsible, and proactive.
• Excellent understanding and application of GAAP and industry accounting practices.

Responsibilities

• Record, reconcile investing and related cash activities with Operations and Accounting teams.
• Perform investment, cash and custody reconciliations with fund administrators and resolve discrepancies.
• Produce daily and monthly reporting distributed to Investment Professionals and Management.
• Participate in special operating and financial projects and compile reports.
