Job summary

Rent-A-Center is seeking an Account Manager to manage a portfolio of rental accounts, delivering exceptional service and driving account performance. You will sell new products, handle deliveries and pickups, and uphold store standards in line with RAC values.

The role emphasizes strong customer relationships, timely collections, and growth through in-person and home-based interactions, with clear advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee an assigned portfolio of accounts while building and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Conduct early-stage collections (1–6 days past due) and meet daily/weekly collection standards
• Maintain account health and secure payment commitments utilizing account management tools
• Complete assigned routes for deliveries, pickups, and account follow-ups
• Deliver white-glove customer service in-store, over the phone, and in customers’ homes
• Contribute to sales growth and generate new rental agreements
• Safely transport, install, and handle merchandise
• Maintain showroom standards and company vehicles
• Adhere to all company safety and operational guidelines
