Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience with full ownership of monthly close.
• 3+ years in a Controller, Accounting Manager, or Senior Accountant role.
• Hands-on QuickBooks Online proficiency and ADP Workforce Now payroll.
• Experience with percentage-of-completion revenue recognition for service or construction
• Ability to reconcile multi-location P&L and manage sales tax across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Own the 5-day monthly close across all locations using a close tracker.
• Prepare the monthly reporting package: Consolidated P&L, P&L by Location, Balance Sheet.
• Maintain chart of accounts and journal-entry standards; review GL for issues.
• Book percentage-of-completion revenue recognition; monitor job costs and WIP.
• Allocate revenue/COGS to branches; perform location reclassifications and AJEs.
• Reconcile bank accounts, AR/AP, deferred revenue, and balance-sheet items.
