Job summary

Parameter is hiring a Growth Engineer for an onsite role in San Francisco. You will own the growth funnel from discovery to paid engagement, building landing pages, free tools, onboarding experiments, and automation to drive qualified leads and conversions.

You will ship high-impact experiments, instrument performance with PostHog and SQL, and collaborate with founders on launches and outbound efforts. Relentless focus on the customer language and measurable outcomes is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-time engineering experience, ideally in growth, product engineering, or early-stage startups.
• Track record of shipping funnels, launches or experiments with measurable impact.
• Production TypeScript and React; attention to page details and conversion rate.
• Strong analytics and SQL; able to make data-driven decisions from small samples.
• Able to turn rough goals into a usable first version without a detailed spec.
• Clear writing and good judgment on when ideas are ready.
• Bonus: experience with developer tools, cybersecurity, founder-led growth, or selling to a technical audience.

Responsibilities

• Own the growth funnel end to end, from first visit to booked call to paid engagement.
• Build growth surfaces from start to finish: landing pages, free tools, product-led loops, onboarding experiments, and internal automation.
• Run experiments cadence with hypotheses, ship, measure, and decide next steps.
• Maintain instrumentation in PostHog and SQL so every channel and experiment can be measured.
• Partner with the founders on launches, technical content, and outbound experiments; help allocate quarterly growth effort.
• Talk to prospects and customers, capture the words they use for the problem, and feed those words back into the product.
