Job summary

Chemtek, Inc. in Durham, NC, is seeking a Talent Acquisition & HR Manager to lead end-to-end recruiting for sales, admin, and light manufacturing, and to shape the people experience as we scale.

You will own sourcing, onboarding, and broader HR duties, partner with managers on interview scorecards, and build a durable candidate pipeline. Hybrid work in Durham with on-site and remote days.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of full-cycle recruiting, in-house preferred.
• Outbound sourcing experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, boolean search, referrals.
• Experience hiring sales professionals, ideally outside sales.
• Proficient with ATS/HRIS systems; BambooHR is a plus.
• SHRM-CP, PHR or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Recruiting experience in manufacturing, construction, building products, industrial or the trades is a plus.
• Valid driver license with occasional travel to Yanceyville plant.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for sales, administrative, and light manufacturing roles.
• Source actively; outbound work for outside sales positions.
• Partner with hiring managers to define scorecards, structure interviews, and keep searches moving.
• Own the onboarding process and create a consistent, effective experience for new hires.
• Take on broader HR responsibilities as the function grows, including employee relations support, benefits enrollment coordination, and policy and handbook work.
• Build a candidate pipeline that outlasts any single opening.
