Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Previous professional accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of general ledger and month-end close.
• Experience with journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP or accounting software preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
• Complete balance sheet and bank account reconciliations.
• Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting.
• Analyze account activity and investigate discrepancies.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed.
• Assist with audit preparation and provide supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure adherence to internal controls.
• Partner with other departments to research and resolve accounting-related questions.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies.
• Take on additional accounting responsibilities as the organization continues to grow.
