LVI Associates and our client, a growing electrical contractor in Houston, seek a Service Manager to lead a thriving commercial service division. You’ll own daily operations, manage field crews, and expand the book of business across the Houston market.

With 15 service trucks and a strategic growth plan, expect a strong compensation package including bonus potential, vehicle allowance, benefits, and clear career growth.

Qualifications

• Experience working for an electrical contractor and leading service activities.
• Proven success in Service Manager, Operations Manager, Project Manager, or Service Operations roles.
• Strong background in commercial electrical service and small projects management.
• Experience developing client relationships and growing revenue.
• Ability to lead teams, manage financial performance, and drive operational excellence.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growing a business unit.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the service department.
• Oversee service technicians, project execution, dispatching, scheduling, and workforce planning.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with existing customers while creating new business opportunities.
• Manage service agreements, maintenance contracts, and small project work.
• Review estimates, proposals, budgets, and project financials.
• Drive customer satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term client partnerships.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop field personnel as the division grows.
• Work closely with executive leadership to execute growth plans.
