CITITRENDS is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, lead the team, and assist with hiring. You will help drive sales, ensure excellent customer experiences, and uphold store standards under the guidance of the Store Manager.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in a similar retail leadership role, with strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership experience preferred.
• 3–5 years of overall retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to meet sales goals and customer experience standards.
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver excellent service.
• Assist with inventory control, transactions, and shrink prevention efforts.
• Ensure compliance with CITITRENDS policies and standards.
• Supervise and support store associates in sales, inventory, cash handling, and service.
• Assist Store Manager with hiring, recruiting, onboarding, and training.
• Help maintain appropriate staffing levels through recruiting efforts and retention.
• Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to associates.
• Maintain a safe, organized store environment and reinforce loss prevention measures.
