Job summary

Moss Consulting HR Services is seeking an HR Manager in Phoenix, AZ to own the HR function for affiliated client businesses. This hands-on leadership role requires initiative, integrity, and comfort with both details and executive discussions.

You will manage payroll, benefits, employee relations, onboarding/offboarding, compliance, and more, with EOS familiarity preferred. Competitive hourly pay starts at $37.50 and increases to $50.00, plus quarterly revenue share.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing complex employee relations independently.
• Full competency in HR compliance auditing.
• Comfortable partnering with ownership and delivering difficult news.

Responsibilities

• Own all major HR functions end-to-end for assigned client businesses (payroll, benefits, onboarding/offboarding, compliance).
• Manage complex employee relations matters from intake to resolution.
• Own the compliance calendar: I-9, FLSA, EEO-1, ACA, and state requirements.
• Evaluate HR health at each client and present findings to leadership.
• Lead open enrollment and performance review cycles.
• Partner with ownership-level leadership to drive effective people operations.
