Job summary

Moss Consulting HR Services is seeking an HR Manager in Austin, TX (Hybrid) to own the HR function for the growing group of client businesses we support. This hands-on leadership role rewards initiative, integrity, and the ability to operate in both detail and executive conversations.

You will manage payroll, benefits administration, conflict resolution, onboarding/offboarding, and compliance. You’ll own the I-9, ACA, EEO-1, and state requirements calendar, lead open enrollment, champion

Qualifications

PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
Experience managing complex employee relations independently.
Full competency in HR compliance auditing.

Responsibilities

Own all major HR functions end-to-end for assigned client businesses — payroll, benefits administration, conflict resolution, leadership support, onboarding/offboarding, compliance, and more.
Manage complex employee relations matters from intake to resolution.
Own the compliance calendar for I-9, ACA, EEO-1, state requirements and related filings.
Evaluate overall HR health at each client and present findings to leadership.
Lead open enrollment and performance review cycles.
Partner with ownership-level leadership for strategic guidance and difficult conversations.
Support client businesses in running effective people operations.
