Job summary

Popeyes is seeking a General Manager to lead our restaurant in San Antonio, TX. You will oversee daily operations, drive guest service, and maintain high food quality and cleanliness while achieving financial goals.

You’ll recruit and develop team members, manage scheduling and payroll, monitor inventory and costs, and ensure health and safety standards. A strong leader with 3-5 years of restaurant management is preferred; bachelor’s degree a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree a plus).
• 3-5 years of restaurant management experience, ideally as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Financial and business acumen, including understanding of P&L statements.

Responsibilities

• Lead all daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards in food quality, guest service, and cleanliness.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop top talent for all team positions.
• Motivate and coach team members and managers to achieve goals and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• Oversee inventory management, food and labor costs, and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Drive sales growth and profitability through operational excellence and local marketing.
• Manage scheduling, payroll, and administrative tasks efficiently.
• Build a positive team culture that reflects Popeyes values.
