Job summary

Pen Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Division 5 Miscellaneous Metals construction estimator and business developer in Southern California. You will estimate and quote Division 5 projects, review plans, and build long-term relationships with general contractors, developers, and commercial customers.

The role involves pursuing new business opportunities, negotiating pricing, and collaborating with engineering and production to ensure project success across Southern California.

Qualifications

• 5+ years estimating and selling Division 5 miscellaneous metals or structural steel projects.
• Proven ability to prepare competitive bids and win work.
• Existing Southern California contractor relationships preferred.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and bid Division 5 miscellaneous metals projects
• Review plans, specifications, and construction documents
• Develop relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, and developers
• Pursue new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships
• Negotiate pricing and close awarded projects
• Work closely with engineering and production to ensure successful project execution
• Visit customers and jobsites throughout Southern California
