Job summary

BrainWorks seeks a Corporate Controller to join its leadership team in a PE-backed, multi-entity industrial services platform. This role reports to the CFO and focuses on building scalable accounting processes, controls, and systems, as well as integrating acquired businesses.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong US GAAP expertise, and CPA preferred. You will lead the accounting organization, partner with executives, and drive high-impact financial

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in PE-backed, multi-entity settings.
• Experience building/scaling accounting orgs in high-growth platforms.
• Strong U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate controllership, including GL, AP, AR, close, and reporting.
• Integrate acquisitions, align COA, ERP conversions, and data migration.
• Own month-end and year-end close with timely US GAAP reporting.
• Partner with CFO/FP&A on budgeting, KPIs, debt compliance, and management reporting.
