Job summary

quip. is seeking a Director of Content in New York to build and lead a scalable content engine that drives revenue across DTC, retail, and marketplaces. This senior leader will own the brand narrative, oversee an in-house studio, and partner with sales and e‑commerce to convert attention into sales.

The role combines strategy, leadership, and hands-on creation in a hybrid NYC setting. Based in Dumbo with two days in the office, the position offers a base salary in the 175k–195k range plus

Qualifications

• 10+ years building content, social, and creative for consumer brands.
• Proven track record of creating high-volume content machines.
• Deep hands-on knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
• Experience with content-first selling and retail integration.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a content strategy tied to topline growth across DTC, retail, and marketplaces.
• Lead in-house studio, creators, UGC, and agency partners to sustain high-volume output.
• Own platform strategy across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Pinterest.
• Build measurement linking content to engagement and revenue.
• Inspire and upskill teams to make content a company-wide capability.
