Job summary

Gpac is seeking a Construction Project Engineer for the Minneapolis, MN area. The role targets candidates with a couple of years of commercial construction experience seeking growth and responsibility.

You will produce and manage ASIs, CCDs, RFIs, and Submittals while assisting with permits, occupancy, QA/QC, and coordination meetings. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred (Construction Management, Engineering, etc.)
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints and construction documents
• Proficient with MS Office Suite
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project is a plus
• Exceptional communication skills
• Resourceful and proactive when issues arise
• Professional attitude and experience

• Excellent organizational skills
• Time‑management and multitasking skills

Responsibilities

• Produce, monitor, track, and distribute project ASIs, CCDs, RFIs, and Submittals
• Assist in procurement of building permits, Certificate of Occupancy, and other requirements
• Assist Superintendent and Project Manager with Quality Assurance and Quality Control
• Attend weekly or biweekly OAC and/or Subcontractor Coordination meetings
• Coordinate distribution of bidding documents to prospective subs and suppliers
• Document construction progress through weekly site visits and photographs
• Assist in coordination and securing owner‑furnished equipment and furnishings
• Help create and maintain accurate as‑built drawings onsite
• Maintain project record documents, including assembling final O&M manuals and As‑built drawings
• Assist Project Manager in miscellaneous project duties
• Fulfill special project needs as they arise
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
