Job summary

gpac is seeking a driven Project Manager - Commercial Construction to join its Southeast Michigan operations and lead diverse commercial projects from preconstruction through completion, with exposure to multifamily, mixed-use, and ground-up work.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of construction PM experience in commercial general contracting, strong scheduling and budgeting skills, proficiency with Procore, and excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of construction project management experience required.
• Commercial general contracting experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with multifamily, mixed-use, or ground-up commercial construction highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and project delivery.
• Proficiency with construction management software; Procore experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, cost controls, and financial performance.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and field personnel.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with Superintendents to ensure quality, safety, and timely project delivery.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
• Proactively identify challenges and implement effective solutions.
