Job summary

Thompson Concrete is seeking a Divisional Operations Leader to drive execution, build leaders, and standardize processes across multiple markets in the Kentucky region. The role focuses on scheduling, capacity planning, and promoting operational clarity with a strong emphasis on developing frontline leaders.

You will partner with senior operations to ensure consistent, data-driven decisions and structured workflows.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in construction is not required.
• Proven ability to develop managers and frontline leaders.
• Strong organizational and execution skills.
• Calm, clear decision making under pressure.
• Ability to hold teams accountable with respect and consistency.
• Comfort using technology to support operations and visibility.
• Interest in long term leadership impact within a growing organization.
• Excellent Computer Skills (UKG Experience a Plus)

Responsibilities

• Lead and improve day-to-day operations across multiple markets.
• Work side-by-side with other Leaders to promote cohesion and consistency.
• Build and standardize simple, repeatable operating processes.
• Own scheduling and capacity planning to drive predictability.
• Coach and support Operations Managers, Production Managers, and field leaders.
• Improve quality performance, safety consistency, and productivity.
• Ensure accurate operational workflows for timekeeping, job data, and billing support.
• Drive adoption of operational systems and reporting tools.
• Support operational setup and stabilization of new markets.
• Additional tasks will present themselves as the role continues to evolve
