Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee day-to-day branch operations, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures while guiding department managers. The role focuses on profitability, staffing, training, and strategic planning across truck, parts, and service operations.

The position emphasizes strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple departments to meet company goals and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Assesses present and future needs, trends, problems and profit opportunities of the branch.
• Establishes short and long-term operating and financial objectives for assigned branch.
• Ensures that approved policies and objectives are clearly understood and effectively applied throughout assigned branch.
• Formulates annual and monthly business plans, sales/profit objectives and expense budgets with department managers.
• Develops merchandising strategies with department managers to ensure objectives are obtained; supervises sale of trucks, parts and service.
• Ensures the branch complies with local, state and federal regulations.
• Maintains communications within and between departments; conducts conferences as required.
• Establishes and maintains satisfactory customer and public relations; arbitrates between customers and managers when needed.
• Develops and trains department managers and reviews performance; recommends compensation changes per policy.
