Kimbrell’s Furniture is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in North Carolina. The role supports the Store Manager in daily store operations, credit functions, and team performance to drive sales and service excellence.

The position emphasizes leadership, coaching, and ensuring policy compliance, with opportunities for advancement and a strong focus on delivering a high-quality customer experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in retail or related environment.
• Strong customer service orientation and sales skills.
• Experience with sales, customer service, and credit/collections processes.
• Ability to handle cash and perform basic financial transactions.
• Bilingual (English-Spanish) may be a plus depending on staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Support overall store operations and ensure adherence to company policies and performance expectations.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve sales, service, and operational goals.
• Provide performance feedback and assist with employee relations, including coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Oversee credit/collections processes and ensure compliance with laws and policies.
• Maintain financial controls including cash handling, deposits, and recordkeeping.
