Job summary

A First Name Basis is a fast-growing in-home care provider operating across multiple states. We are seeking an Area Manager to scale census, develop a strong caregiver pipeline, and oversee branch operations with a focus on quality and compliance.

You will lead care teams, drive client growth, manage staffing, and ensure service delivery meets regulatory standards while mentoring staff and building strong community relationships.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in healthcare operations or home care leadership.
• Proven track record of growing census and scaling service delivery.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Experience with scheduling, documentation systems and compliance oversight.

Responsibilities

• Drive census growth by building referral relationships and ensuring service readiness.
• Lead branch operations and ensure adherence to Medicaid, HIPAA and regulations.
• Hire, coach and develop Care Managers and branch staff.
• Oversee care planning, scheduling, and quality monitoring.
• Build partnerships with community and referral sources.
• Track KPIs and drive continuous performance improvements.
