Job summary

CoStar Group is seeking a Director of Business Development for MortgagePro Sales in Irvine, CA or San Francisco Bay Area, CA. The role focuses on growing MortgagePro business with lenders, banks, and other financial institutions, and requires a strong background in mortgage/finance or home building industries along with SaaS experience.

The candidate will generate new business, manage the full sales cycle, conduct demonstrations, and travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Track record of commitment to prior employers.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• 4+ years in digital/data services business development/outside sales.
• Experience in mortgage/finance/home building industries valued.
• Experience in SaaS with user acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business selling MortgagePro to lenders, banks, mortgage banks, and other financial institutions.
• Develop and execute a sales plan for the territory.
• Generate 9 face-to-face appointments per week and maintain all meeting & pipeline information in Salesforce.com.
• Drive full sales cycle from intro calls to closing deals.
• Schedule and perform in-person and web demonstrations.
• Proficient with multiple technology platforms (PC, mobile, apps).
• Travel within territory and industry conventions to grow business.
