Job summary

Medela LLC is seeking a Director of Sales to lead the Cardiothoracic and Digital Chest Drainage businesses across the United States. This remote role with up to 70% travel targets growth for Thopaz+ digital chest drainage, working with surgeons, hospitals, and procurement teams to accelerate adoption.

You will build the U.S. commercial strategy, recruit and coach a high‑performing sales team, and partner with Marketing, Product, and Clinical Education to expand market presence.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive medical device sales and commercial leadership experience.
• Experience selling to thoracic or cardiac surgeons and navigating hospital purchasing processes.
• Proven track record launching innovative medical technology and expanding into new markets.
• Strong financial acumen including forecasting, budgeting, and market analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the U.S. commercial strategy and performance for the CT & PVS portfolio.
• Develop and execute growth plans to expand adoption of Thopaz+ in the U.S.
• Build and lead a high-performing sales organization with clear accounts and incentives.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Clinical Education, and global leadership.
