Job summary

Medela LLC is seeking a Director of Sales for the Cardiothoracic & Digital Chest Drainage portfolio to drive U.S. growth.

This role leads the commercial strategy, engages thoracic and cardiac surgeons, and builds a high-performing field team to accelerate adoption of Thopaz+ and related technologies. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in medical device sales with leadership, a strong hospital purchasing background, and the business acumen to forecast, budget, and plan long-term growth.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in progressive medical device sales with leadership experience.
• Experience selling to thoracic/cardiac surgeons and navigating hospital purchasing processes.
• Proven ability to launch innovative medical technology and drive adoption.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the US commercial strategy for CT & PVS portfolio.
• Drive adoption of digital chest drainage technology with clinicians and hospital leaders.
• Analyze market potential, volumes, and competition to craft growth plans.
• Lead, coach, and energize the sales team; optimize incentives and processes.
• Navigate purchasing committees, contracting, and value analyses.
