Job summary

The Everest Search Group's client, a 30+ year asset-based Third-Party Logistics and Packaging company, seeks a Director of Sales to expand warehousing, ecommerce fulfilment, and food repacking services across the United States. You will onboard new clients and drive renewal strategies, focusing on retail, skincare, beauty, apparel, and dry food sectors.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree preferred or higher
• 5+ years in 3PL & contract logistics and ecommerce
• Proven solution-oriented, consultative sales approach
• Established book of business in targeted verticals
• Passion for customer experience from start to contract

Responsibilities

• Maintain and understand the company's service offerings and capabilities.
• Create a comprehensive sales strategy and business plan to acquire new clients.
• Identify prospective clients that fit the organization’s competencies and services.
• Evaluate current programs and implement short- and long-term strategies.
• Plan, organize and build a sales and support team.
• Develop and maintain a robust network of contacts.
• Build relationships with multiple contacts at key clients.
• Collaborate with internal ownership, Operations, and support teams.
• Attend customer visits and quarterly business reviews; escalate when needed.
• Stay informed on competitors and industry trends.
• Develop goals, policies and procedures for the sales organization.
• Develop KPI’s for sales targets within the sales organization.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.
