Job summary

Metropolis in Los Angeles is hiring a Senior Data Scientist, Growth Marketing to join our growing data team. In this role, you will serve as the primary quantitative partner to our Growth Marketing leadership, turning massive real-world transactional and behavioral datasets into engines for user acquisition, retention, and gross profit expansion.

You will design multi-touch attribution, customer lifetime value, and CAC efficiency models; run A/B tests, geo-experiments, and incrementality studies

Qualifications

• Deep background in marketing measurement and causal inference.
• Experience building multi-touch attribution systems and modeling LTV/CAC.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and refine predictive models for MTA, CLV, and CAC efficiency.
• Conduct cohort analyses and retention modeling to uncover drivers of conversion, retention, and churn.
• Lead the growth experimentation roadmap with A/B tests, geo-experiments, holdout tests, and incrementality studies.
• Partner with Growth Marketing and Finance to optimize unit economics and channel growth.
• Collaborate with analytics and data engineering to establish event tracking and scalable data pipelines; build executive dashboards.
• Utilize AI tools and modern analytics frameworks to make workflows faster and more insightful.
