Job summary

Metropolis is hiring a Senior Data Scientist, Growth Marketing to turn massive transactional and behavioral datasets into engines for user acquisition, retention, and gross profit expansion. You will partner with Growth Marketing, Product, and Finance to drive measurable growth using advanced attribution and LTV analyses.

You will design, deploy, and interpret multi-touch attribution models and robust experiments, translating complex insights into actionable business strategies.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or Analytics Lead with a growth marketing focus.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and modeling.
• Deep domain expertise in growth measurement frameworks, multi-touch attribution, and LTV/CAC dynamics.
• Experience with causal inference methods and designing rigorous experiments.

Responsibilities

• Build and refine MTA, CLV, CAC models for budget allocation across channels.
• Conduct cohort analyses and retention modeling to uncover drivers of conversion and churn.
• Lead the growth experimentation roadmap with A/B tests, geo-experiments, and incrementality studies.
• Partner with Growth Marketing and Finance to optimize unit economics and channel goals.
• Collaborate with analytics and data engineering to establish event tracking and scalable pipelines.
• Utilize AI tools to modernize analytics workflows into responsive, high-output processes.
