Job summary

Slalom Build is seeking a Corporate Strategist to join our Strategy team. We focus on transforming client outcomes by redefining possibilities and guiding journeys through ambiguity and risk.

You will lead enterprise-wide and business-unit strategies, coach teams, and shape strategic roadmaps while mentoring other Strategists to strengthen Slalom’s strategy communities. The role emphasizes collaboration across high-impact projects and client-facing narratives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of big 4 consulting background.
• Experience in Business Strategy and Process Optimization, including: Business and Growth Strategy Development; Financial, Business and Process Analysis; Competitive Research & Analysis; Value Stream Mapping; Strategic Roadmap & Execution Plans; Executive Management & Communications; Continuous Process Improvement.
• MBA required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and deliver enterprise-wide and/or business-unit-level strategies to deliver business outcomes.
• Direct development of complex situation assessments for dynamic, ambiguous industries.
• Coach and lead team members through research and assessment activities to provide digestible narratives to customers.
• Provide perspectives on emerging trends and their impact on opportunities and challenges.
• Build capabilities of the client team to think and work together through the strategy development process.
• Mentor and lead other Strategists to grow in their expertise and lead strategy communities.
• Build project and program-level roadmaps that align to client success and Slalom-enabled work.
• Provide process mapping guidance for the team and complex portfolios.
• Understand and lead client outcome and deal strategies to drive solution details.
• Create strategy opportunities and solutions, including cost estimates, staffing plans and timelines.
• Develop capabilities and solutions that align to client’s “Why”.
