Job summary

Park Place Finance is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant/Financial Analyst in Austin, TX, to support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. This role blends accounting expertise with rigorous financial analysis to deliver actionable insights to leadership and improve profitability.

The ideal candidate will lead close processes, manage budgeting and forecasting, and partner with cross-functional teams to optimize operations and financial performance

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills including modeling, pivots, and complex formulas.
• Experience with QuickBooks and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations and produce timely financial statements.
• Monitor KPIs and communicate insights to leadership.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations and other teams to provide financial guidance.
