Job summary

Alkali Partners, based in the United States, Portland-area focused, seeks Growth Associates to own the top of the deal funnel for AI-native M&A advisory in software and tech. You will source, qualify, and book calls with ICP-fit founders, working closely with senior dealmakers to create immediate opportunities.

You will build multi-channel outreach, leverage an AI-driven stack, and refine ICPs while enjoying a clear compensation path tied to booked calls and pitches.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years in tech sales, SDR/BDR, finance, consulting, or new grad; no IB experience required.
• Comfortable starting conversations and making calls; not relying on email alone.
• Built for high daily output: calls, emails, and sourcing without quality drop.
• Native-level English writer who can earn founder responses quickly.
• Data discipline with CRM cleanliness and reliable record-keeping.
• Relentless, high-agency mindset with proactive problem ownership.
• Coachable, competitive, eager to beat numbers and learn.

Responsibilities

• Own pipeline generation: source, research, and qualify software/tech companies.
• Run intelligent outbound at scale: multi-channel outreach that starts real conversations.
• Book calls that become deals: schedule founder calls for the deal team.
• Hand off cleanly: structured Salesforce records and pre-meeting notes.
• Operate an AI-native GTM stack: use Claude, Salesforce, Grata, PitchBook, Apollo and more.
• Refine qualification criteria and ICP; institutionalize effective sequences.
• Develop deal instincts: learn how companies are valued and exit-ready.
