CSC Generation is seeking a Senior Associate, M&A Origination to build the front end of the acquisition engine. You will map target markets, run outreach, and initiate conversations with owners and advisors to generate sourced opportunities for active deal processes.

You will own the origination pipeline, work closely with deal professionals, and help the team scale in a lean, high-output environment while traveling to target events as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in targeting and generating deal flow across consumer/retail sectors.
• Ability to build market maps and target universes from scratch.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and AI tooling to extend coverage.
• Strong analytical skills to size businesses and evaluate ownership/financing.
• High ownership mindset with measurable pipeline performance.

Responsabilités

• Build market maps to drive acquisition strategy and define target lists.
• Conduct primary industry research on market trends and buyer activity.
• Maintain and enrich target universe with current ownership and financing details.
• Execute outreach to owners, founders, and management early in conversations.
• Support network of bankers, brokers, lenders, and advisors; keep relationships warm.
• Screen opportunities against investment criteria and construct initial commercial cases.
• Maintain pipeline hygiene, reporting, and implement AI workflows for coverage.
