Job summary

Zendesk in the United States is seeking a Senior Manager, Growth Analytics to lead a team of analysts and partner with PLG Product Managers and Engineers across the customer lifecycle, from acquisition to expansion. The role blends hands-on analysis with strategic shaping of analytics capabilities and operating models.

You will drive metrics, ensure trusted data, and enable self-service reporting, leveraging SQL, Python, and modern data platforms to inform product decisions at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience designing or interpreting product experiments and A/B tests.
• Strong statistical reasoning and causal inference.
• Ability to define metrics and measurement plans with product and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Understand PLG journey performance and friction points to improve outcomes.
• Build relationships across Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering and Data.
• Define business questions, hypotheses, product goals, and success metrics with PMs.
• Lead and develop a team of growth analysts through coaching and prioritization.
• Establish PLG funnel measurement from acquisition to expansion.
• Analyze customer behavior with segmentation, cohort, funnel, retention, experiments.
• Design measurement plans for initiatives and experiments with guardrails.
• Improve analytics quality with metric definitions, event tracking, dashboards.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, SQL/Python, data modeling, documentation.
