Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Billing & AR Manager in Norfolk, MA on-site to own the billing and accounts receivable function for a growing construction organization.

You will partner with Project Managers and operational leaders to drive project profitability and cash flow, managing AIA and progress billings, aging, and collections with precision.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of billing and accounts receivable experience.
• Experience with construction billing, including AIA and progress billing.
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable and collections processes.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with operations teams.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit AIA and progress billings for active construction projects.
• Manage monthly billing cycles, including change orders and project-related documentation.
• Work closely with Project Managers and Project Engineers to ensure accurate and timely billing.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and manage collection efforts.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and customer payment issues.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients while ensuring timely collections.
• Support reporting and cash flow management initiatives.
