Plains Grain & Agronomy Cooperative (PGAg) seeks a self-motivated, organized agronomy sales professional to build strong customer relationships while providing agronomic expertise and selling crop inputs and related services.

This role focuses on helping growers maximize production and profitability through customized recommendations and exceptional service, with a mix of office, field, and customer-site work and seasonal hours during planting and harvest.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Crop Science, or related field.
• Experience in agricultural sales or agronomy.
• Strong knowledge of crop production and crop protection products.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain relationships with farmers and agricultural producers.
• Identify customer needs and recommend agronomic solutions.
• Sell seed, fertilizer, crop protection products, and precision ag services.
• Conduct field scouting and evaluate crop conditions.
• Provide recommendations based on soil tests, crop performance, and local growing conditions.
• Meet or exceed sales goals and business objectives.
• Prepare sales plans, quotes, and product recommendations.
• Stay current on new products, technologies, and industry trends.
• Collaborate with internal agronomists, applicators, operations staff, and suppliers to ensure excellent customer service.
• Participate in customer meetings, field days, and community events.
• Combination of office, field, and customer-site work.
• Seasonal workload may require extended hours during planting and harvest.
