Responsibilities

• Read and understand product tags to identify grout color and finishing requirements.
• Apply water to concrete surfaces before grouting.

• Ensure holes are filled and finished flush with the surface.
• Finish surfaces using a Scotch-Brite pad.
• Inspect finished products for quality and production standards.
• Learn and mix different grout colors using established ratios.
• Sift and prepare rock used in the grout for color and texture.
• Mix grout with rock according to established procedures.
• Monitor grout and rock supplies and request more when needed.
• Tape designated areas to be blasted or acid washed.
• Protect areas not receiving additional finishing.
• Remove tape and inspect the finished product.
• Operate the computer production system to log pieces.
• Enter and verify production information timely.
• Maintain accurate production records.
• Communicate questions or quality concerns to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

This role is responsible for grouting, patching, taping, and finishing concrete products while following specific product tags, grout color requirements, and production specifications. The Grout Lines Associate will prepare and mix grout and rock, inspect completed products for quality, and accurately record completed production pieces. This position may support other production areas based on workload and staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and understand product tags to identify the correct grout color, finishing requirements, and production specifications.
• Apply water to concrete surfaces as required before grouting.
• Apply the correct grout color to products according to product specifications.
• Allow grout to set until nearly dry, then wipe excess grout with a clean rag.
• Ensure all holes are properly filled and finished flush with the surface.
• Finish surfaces using a Scotch-Brite pad as required.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and production standards.
• Learn and properly mix different grout colors using established ratios and procedures.
• Sift and prepare rock used in the grout to achieve consistent color and texture.
• Mix grout with the required rock according to established procedures and material ratios.
• Monitor grout and rock supplies and communicate when additional materials are needed.
• Properly tape designated areas of products that will be blasted or acid washed.
• Identify areas that will not receive additional finishing and ensure they are properly protected.
• Remove tape when appropriate and inspect the finished product.
• Operate the computer production system to log completed production pieces.
• Enter and verify production information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate production records.
• Communicate questions, discrepancies, material needs, or quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Properly use and care for tools and equipment.
• Assist in other production areas and cross-train as needed based on workload and staffing needs.
