Wausau Tile is seeking an Entry-level Order Picker-Shipper to join our team in Rothschild, WI. You will stage materials, load outbound shipments, and maintain inventory records in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This full-time, 1st shift role requires reading blueprints and production paperwork, operating forklifts, and following safety protocols. A High School diploma is preferred; reliability to meet production schedules is essential. Teamwork and attention to detail are valued.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints, production paperwork, and spec sheets.
• Proficient with measuring equipment and basic hand tools.
• Mechanically inclined; comfortable operating forklifts and heavy equipment.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and stage materials from indoor and outdoor storage.

Wausau Tile is seeking an Order- Picker- Shipper who is hardworking, safety-conscious, and quality-driven. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working both independently and within a team environment with minimal supervision. This role is vital in ensuring raw materials and finished products are handled, staged, and shipped in compliance with production schedules and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Material Handling & Staging:
• Retrieve and stage materials from both indoor and outdoor storage areas.
• Operate forklifts, bobcats, and front-end loaders to transport materials.
• Perform inventory transactions using MES (Manufacturing Execution System).
• Assist with waste management, including loading dump trucks and dumpsters.
• Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance on material handling equipment.
• Product Loading & Packaging:
• Load outbound trucks, flatbed trailers, and containers with finished products securely.
• Band, wrap, and label pallets, recording data in the tracking system.
• Use electric floor lifts and forklifts to move products between workstations and staging areas.
• Perform manual lifting and team lifting for heavy materials.
• General Duties & Safety:
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, including sweeping and cleaning workstations.
• Assist with snow removal, yard grading, and filling potholes as needed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including PPE usage and equipment safety checks.
• Take responsibility for personal and team safety, working closely with supervisors and the Safety Director.
