Job summary

The Tile Shop is seeking a Production Assembler I in our Distribution Center to assemble and finish display boards for our retail showrooms. The typical shift is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential overtime as needed.

Training and safety guidance are provided, and you will work in a team focused on quality and efficiency. You will move boards and materials, mix grout per sheet, apply grout, inspect equipment, and label and package finished boards for shipping.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Related work experience or training preferred.

Job description

The Tile Shop is now hiring in their Distribution Center for a Production Assembler 1. Producing high quality display boards for The Tile Shop retail showrooms.

Monday - Thursday 6AM - 4:30PM

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Convey boards or materials from production areas to designated areas.
Mix the required grout type and color as directed or per board production sheet.
Apply grout to tile joints using floats or other tools.
Remove excess grout from boards using damp sponges and other materials.
Lift, move, sort, carry or place finished boards in/out of rolling carts.
Apply labels to boards as directed or per board production sheet.
Use industrial equipment such as sit‑down forklift, pallet jack, rolling carts, etc.
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to material type.
Uses warehouse management and RF system to pick and pack boards.
Able to secure boards for shipping to avoid damage.
Ability to inspect, use and maintain equipment in good working order.
Lift, move, sort, carry or place materials and items onto/off of pallets or crates.
Ensure that all pallets and items are clearly and accurately labeled.
Responsible for helping to maintain a clean, safe and organized working environment.
Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one related previous employment experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
