Job summary

24 Hour Fitness seeks a Group X Coach to deliver pre-choreographed or freestyle group exercise programs to members and guests in a welcoming setting. Sessions may be in-person or via virtual technology, and the role emphasizes safety, quality instruction, and member engagement.

The position reports to the General Manager and involves collaboration with club staff, managing class coverage, and promoting participation through social media and events.

Qualifications

• Current approved group exercise primary certification for taught format.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous group exercise instruction experience preferred.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coach group sessions and classes to members and guests.
• Present sessions in a welcoming, encouraging and challenging way.
• Ensure safety and proper techniques are taught.
• Increase attendance by engaging and motivating participants.
• Arrange substitutes to cover classes and manage coverage.
• Maintain a strong social media presence to attract participants.
• Attend staff meetings as required.
