Job summary

24 Hour Fitness is seeking a Group X Coach to deliver dynamic, engaging group classes both in person and via virtual platforms. You will welcome members, ensure proper technique, and motivate attendees across fitness levels.

You’ll help grow class attendance, coordinate schedules, and maintain a clean, well‑organized space. Weekend/holiday availability may be required to support the club’s programming.

Qualifications

• Current approved group exercise primary certification for taught format.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous group exercise instruction experience preferred.
• Knowledge of safe exercise techniques and principles.

Responsibilities

• Coach pre-choreographed or freestyle group sessions for members and guests.
• Present sessions in a welcoming, encouraging and challenging manner.
• Educate on safe techniques and guidelines to ensure safe classes.
• Increase attendance by connecting with and motivating participants.
• Maintain an average of coaching at least 2 classes per week.
• Deliver exceptional customer service before and after sessions.
• Report broken equipment and maintenance needs to management.
• Recruit new members to join classes and start/finish on time.
• Maintain a clean, organized club and assist with equipment.
