Job summary

CompassHealth Center in Brookfield, WI is seeking a Flex Group Therapist to lead evidence-based therapy groups for adolescents 12+ and adults within the Mood & Anxiety program.

You will facilitate CBT, DBT, and ACT groups, work with an interdisciplinary team, and help cross-train in specialty programs while delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Facilitating evidenced-based groups using CBT, DBT, and ACT.
• Working with adolescent and adult patients (ages 12+) in Mood & Anxiety programs.
• Cross-training within specialty programs such as Trauma and OCD/Complex Anxiety.
• Relaying relevant clinical information during rounds and team meetings.

Responsibilities

• Providing group therapy to patients in a safe and therapeutic milieu.
• Developing effective therapeutic group relationships that promote positive change in patients.
• Utilizing CBT, DBT, and ACT, as well as other evidenced-based therapies.
• Relaying relevant clinical information to treatment team during daily rounds and throughout the program day as needed.
• Learning and implementing the Compass group curriculum to address patient needs.
• Engaging in crisis management, as needed.
• Charting in our electronic medical records system.

Launched in September 202 5 , our location in Brookfield , WI , is already home to top local talent in behavioral health care. This interdisciplinary team of trailblazers are build ing our adolescent and adult programs from the ground up alongside the leadership of well-established clinicians, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and nurses working in PHP/IOP behavioral health care for the past decade .

As a Flex Group Therapist , you will spend the majority of your time with our patients facilitating evidenced based groups using modalities like CBT, DBT, and ACT. We are seeking new and experienced clinicians with a passion for delivering dynamic and informative groups for our patients. This role will work with Adolescent and Adult Patients (ages 12+) in our Mood & Anxiety Program, while also offering the opportunity to be cross-trained within our specialty programs and services: Trauma, OCD/Complex Anxiety, and School Anxiety/Refusal.

• Learning and implementing the Compass group curriculum especially to address patient needs
• Engaging in crisis management, as needed
• Charting in our electronic medical records system
