Compass Health Center in Brookfield, WI is seeking an Adolescent Group Therapist to lead group therapy for patients aged 12+ (with 18+ flexibility) within the Mood & Anxiety Program. The role includes cross-training in adult specialty programs (Trauma, OCD/Complex Anxiety, Mental Health, Substance Use) and implementing evidence-based therapies.

You will facilitate groups, engage in crisis management when needed, and document in the EMR.

Qualifikationen

• Psychologist or master’s level therapist qualification.
• Experience with mood/anxiety, OCD/complex anxiety, trauma, mental health and substance use.
• Proficiency in CBT/DBT skills.

Patients and their families rely on CompassHealth Center whenincrisis – every day, wehelp people overcome depression, anxiety, suicidality, obsessions/compulsions, trauma, chronic pain, and other obstacles in order for our patients to live freely.

About This Role

Launched in September 202 5 , our location in Brookfield , WI , is already home to top local talent in behavioral health care. This interdisciplinary team of trailblazers are build ing our adolescent and adult programs from the ground up alongside the leadership of well-established clinicians, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and nurses working in PHP/IOP behavioral health care for the past decade .

As an Adolescent Group Therapist , you will spend the majority of your time with our patients facilitating evidenced based groups using modalities like CBT, DBT, and ACT. We are seeking new and experienced clinicians with a passion for delivering dynamic and informative groups for our patients. This role will work with patients aged 12+ (and flexibility to support 18+) in our Mood & Anxiety Program, while also offering the opportunity to be cross-trained within our Adult specialty programs and services: Trauma, OCD/Complex Anxiety, MentalHealth and Substance Use.

What You'll Do:

• Providing group therapy to patients in a safe and therapeutic milieu
• Developing effective therapeutic group relationships that promote positive change in patients
• Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as other evidenced-based therapies
• Relaying relevant clinical information to treatment team during daily rounds and throughout the program day as needed
• Learning and implementing the Compass group curriculum especially to address patient needs
• Engaging in crisis management, as needed
• Charting in our electronic medical records system
• This position may also include meeting with patients individually or with family members
• Other duties as needed

Who You Are:

• Are passionate about facilitating group therapy and seeking an environment to work collaboratively with others
• Are a Psychologist or Master’s level therapist
• Have prior experience or interest in working with patients of varying diagnoses including Mood & Anxiety, OCD/Complex Anxiety, Trauma, Mental Health and Substance Use
• Possess a core skill set of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills
• Have prior experience working in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, inpatient hospital, or residential setting (preferred, not required)

$47,000 - $65,000 USD
