Job summary

Minnesota Direct Care and Treatment seeks a Group Supervisor Assistant to oversee staffing and program operations for community-based services focused on vocational and day supports for individuals with cognitive and related disabilities.

The role promotes quality programming, collaborates with coordinators and the RTS to maintain service standards across day and employment programs, with rotating shifts and a strong emphasis on client-centered care.

Qualifications

• 1 year supervisory experience in a therapeutic, residential or corrective environment.
• 2 years lead work experience in a therapeutic, residential or corrective environment.
• 3 years experience in a therapeutic, residential or corrective environment providing counseling, rehabilitative patient care, or direction of client care programs.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Rehabilitation Therapy, Health Sciences, Behavioral Sciences or a related field may be substituted for 6 months of experience OR one year of any supervisory experience may be substituted for a maximum of 6 months of experience.
• OR an equivalent combination of the above

Responsibilities

• The Group Supervisor Assistant provides supervisory and programmatic functions for a community-based services program offering vocational, employment and day supports.
• The role ensures appropriate staffing levels and backup for the program's designated coordinators.
• Assists the Rehabilitation Therapist Supervisor (RTS) in program operations and enforces policy, procedures and fiscal responsibilities.
