Job summary

Options Residential, Inc is seeking a Group Home Supervisor / Designated Coordinator to oversee a single program location (Bloomington/Rosemount). You will train and supervise Direct Support Professional staff, coordinate services for individuals supported, and ensure licensing compliance.

Role may involve direct care as needed and requires a valid driver’s license for certain duties. The position offers a strong team environment, a schedule centered on 10am–6pm with possible evenings/weekends,

Qualifications

• 1 of the following education options with required experience in direct care for persons with disabilities or age 65+.
• a baccalaureate degree in a field related to human services, and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; OR
• an associate degree in a field related to human services, and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; OR
• a diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited post-secondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; OR
• a minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities and four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older under supervision; OR
• Supervisory experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight for a single program location and support additional locations during transitions or leaves.
• Train, supervise and support Direct Support Professional staff at the location.
• Coordinate, lead and evaluate services for individuals supported by the program.
• Ensure oversight and compliance with 245D licensing requirements for the assigned location.
• May perform direct care depending on site needs.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a field related to human services

Associate degree in a field related to human services

Diploma in a field related to human services

50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities

Supervisory experience is preferred
