Job summary

The Cottonwood Hotel in Omaha's Blackstone District seeks a dynamic Group Sales Manager to grow group business and elevate guest experiences through strategic outreach, relationship building, and effective revenue generation.

You’ll partner across departments to plan meetings, events, and memorable stays, while leveraging CRM tools and market insights to achieve revenue goals in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Proven success in sales, preferably in hotel group sales or a related hospitality sales role.
• Strong prospecting, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills.
• A results-driven mindset with the ability to meet and exceed revenue goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting to clients and industry partners.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines.
• The ability to analyze sales opportunities, understand market trends, and develop strategies that drive business.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications; hotel sales system experience is a plus.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong partnerships across hotel departments.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
