Job summary

Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort & Villas is seeking a Group Sales Manager to lead a portfolio of accounts across defined market segments. You will research opportunities, initiate direct sales calls, and manage online lead generation while handling special accounts and events for the property.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills and prior hotel sales experience, with a willingness to travel minimally.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Prefer completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training program or equivalent training.
• Prefer 1–2 years previous hotel experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of accounts and assigned market segments.
• Develop new leads and research potential business opportunities.
• Make direct sales calls to prospective clients.
• Manage internet-based lead-generation websites.
• Handle special accounts and assigned sales responsibilities.
• Book short-term meetings and events for the hotel.

• Have minimal travel requirements.
