Job summary

Viceroy Hotels & Resorts at Hyatt Centric Santa Monica seeks a Group Sales Manager to drive revenue by soliciting and closing group and corporate accounts, while delivering immersive, luxury experiences for clients.

You will prospect new business, collaborate with Event Sales and Operations to ensure flawless execution, maintain pipeline records in Hyatt systems, and build lasting relationships with meeting planners and executives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of progressive hotel sales experience, ideally within a lifestyle brand or full-service corporate/group environment.
• A genuine passion for delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment with a proven track record of client satisfaction.
• Solid computer proficiency and comfort working within CRM and hotel systems to manage accounts and log daily activity.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with a proven ability to confidently pitch to executive-level clients and stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation, highly organized multitasking, self-motivated, and ability to maintain confidentiality of information.

Responsibilities

• Solicit, negotiate, and close group and corporate accounts to meet revenue targets.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through outbound sales, networking, and industry events.
• Collaborate with Event Sales, Event Planning, and Operations to deliver client experiences.
• Maintain accurate records and pipeline management using Hyatt systems.
• Serve as primary contact for meeting planners and corporate clients with immersive site inspections.
• Monitor industry trends and analyze data to optimize ADR and occupancy.
