Job summary

Lake Nona Wave Hotel in Orlando seeks a Group Sales Manager to actively solicit and handle inquiries for groups of 10–50 guestrooms per night, driving long‑term value-based relationships and optimum sales results.

You will identify new contacts, respond to inquiries, and develop enduring business relationships while collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Events, and hotel leadership. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in hospitality, sales & marketing, or business administration.
• Minimum three years as Hotel Group Sales Manager with proven closing ability.
• Strong negotiation and contract-writing experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new contacts and sales leads through phone solicitation, sales calls, trade shows, etc. Travel may be required.
• Respond to sales inquiries and contact potential clients to build lasting business relationships.
• Understand market trends and sell against competition.
• Create unique experiences and differentiate the offering to build loyalty.
• Understand hotel amenities and venues to propose authentic group experiences.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, and customer correspondence; generate quotes and confirmations.
