Job summary

Adventureland Park in Altoona, Iowa seeks a Group Sales Representative to generate new business, grow existing accounts, and coordinate events. The role emphasizes supervising a sales team, building client relationships, and partnering with Marketing and Revenue teams on promotions and pricing.

A bachelor’s degree and Salesforce experience are preferred, amusement-park background a plus. The position offers an on-site office setting with opportunities to develop sales skills while delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in marketing, sales, advertising or communications.
• 1+ years of related work experience in sales, marketing, or customer service.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM.
• Previous amusement park, theme park, or waterpark experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the daily supervision of the Sales team and any other assigned departments.
• Lead by example, attitude, and as a representation of Adventureland Park’s core values.
• Act as an approachable mentor and coach to all assigned team members.
• Become knowledgeable of performing the essential duties of all assigned sales positions and backfill these positions when needed.
• Participate in all aspects of supervision of assigned employees, including hiring, orientation, training, performance coaching, and discipline.
• Ensure that all required meal and other breaks are being given in accordance with Iowa law.
• Assist with team scheduling and timekeeping activities.
